Robert W. Coleman

Robert W. Coleman, 87, a former resident of Vinton and Bidwell, Ohio, passed away in North Royalton, Ohio Saturday, January 2, 2016. He was born December 24, 1928, in Shelbiana, Kentucky, to the late John L. and Maude Swiney Coleman. He was known for his furniture making, both with wood and cardboard. He also enjoyed drawing, crocheting and making craft items from paper.
Robert is survived by sisters, Estie (Tiny) Hopkins of Little Creek, Kentucky and Frances (Carl) McDonald of Hinckley, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Jack Thacker of Lexington, South Carolina and sister-in-law, Velma Coleman of Bidwell, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Bethel and James Coleman; sisters, Bessie Baker, Jessie Petrie and Wanda Thacker; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Hackett, Charles Baker, Homer Hopkins and Bill Petrie and sister-in-law Alice Coleman.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Danny Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the Funeral Home Monday 6:00-8:00 PM.
