Robert R. Gooch

Robert R. Gooch, 68, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Thursday February 13, 2003 in Holzer Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1934 in Gallia County, son of Kerr Gooch, Gallipolis and the late Ola Margaret Saunders Gooch. He was formerly employed as a truck driver and attended Fellowship Baptist Church, Gallipolis.
In addition to his father, he is survived by four daughters: Juli Gooch, Mason, West Virginia; Cindy (Pete) Scott, Pomeroy; Teresa (Michael) Gaddy, Gainesville, Florida and Susan Gooch, Port Orange, Florida; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Charla (Rodney) Cook, Gallipolis and two step-children: Cyndy (Greg) Roberts, Vinton and Jay Wiseman, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; former wife, Janet Theiss, Racine, Ohio and a special friend and caregiver, Marcella Taylor, Rio Grande.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Gooch.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, February 17,2003 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Gallipolis with Rev. Joseph Godwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 4:00-6:00 PM.
