Robert O. "Huck" Evans

Robert O. "Huck" Evans, 75, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1938 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Artis and Roxie (Mundell) Evans and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Robert is survived by his son, William Garnes, Rutland, Ohio and daughter, Cindy Harris, Columbus, Ohio as well as four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; aunts, Maryetta Watkins, Orangeburg, South Carolina and Maxine Griffin, Columbus, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Huck was preceded in death by two brothers, Finley and Paul and sister, Frances Payne.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2014 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Bethel Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday Noon - 1:00 PM.
