Robert A. Kingery, 71, Bidwell (formerly of the Shoestring Ridge Community) went to Heaven Sunday, July 18, 2010. He was born May 22, 1939 in Gallia County, the son of the late Arnold and Ora Angel Kingery. He spent his life on the home farm. He was a self taught mechanic for most of his life, worked for Gallipolis and Raccoon Townships, Mickey Maynard Lot Cleaners, and most recently was employed by Stanley Saunders Monuments. He enjoyed anything to do with automobiles, tractor pulling, pony pulling, flea markets, and was a big fan of bluegrass music. His long gray beard, that he had for many years, earned him the nickname of "Bushy Bob" by all of his many friends.

Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard Marlin and Janet Kingery along with nieces and nephew Roberta Daniele (Michael) Woodyard, and Janette Elliott. Also surviving are a great-niece and nephews, Brittany (James) Elliott Baker, Ryan Elliott, Shawn and Blake Woodyard.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Pastor Mickey Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Pall Bearers will be Michael Woodyard, Tom Gooch, Gene Call, Mike Plymale, Lloyd Danner, and Charlie Curnutte.
