Rodney Glenn Gregory Ii

Rodney Glenn Gregory II, 51, Vinton, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 14, 2004 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born August 8, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio son of the late Rodney Gregory and Millie Staley. Rodney was employeed by the Gallia County Local Schools until his illness and had also been employed by Holzer Senior Care, Scenic Hills Nursing Center, Brown's Hardware, Flex Bon Paints, Florida and Asarco of Columbus.
He married Marcella Eloise Adkins June 9, 1973 at Morgan Center and she survives. In addtion to his wife he is survived by son, Shawn (Amy) Gregory, Vinton; daughter, Amanda (Teddy) Russell, Bidwell; grandson, Zachariah Russell; two brothers, Mark Gregory and Robert Gregory, both of Columbus; three sisters: Debbie (David) Langley, Baltimore, Ohio; Ruthann Gregory and Angel Staley, both of Columbus; stepfather, Winfield Staley, Columbus; stepmother, Helen Gregory, Obetz, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2004 in the Morgan Center Christian Church with Rev. Bob Manley, Rev. Ted Russell and Rev. Bob Hersman officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Center Cemetry. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Monday 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Pallbearers will be David Langley, Sonny, Randy, Richie, Shannon and Raymond Adkins and Honorary Pallbearer, Ronnie Adkins
