Rosie (Johnson) Isaac
March 3, 1922 — September 23, 2006
Rosie Isaac, 84, Vinton went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 23, 2006. She was born March 3, 1922 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sam and Tilda Hall Johnson. She married William Isaac in Floyd County July 10, 1942 and she leaves behind her beloved companion and soul mate.
In addition she is survived by nine children: Finis Isaac, Vinton, Ohio; Olinis (Linda) Isaac, Milton, Florida; Lonzie Isaac, Kerr, Ohio; Virgil (Bonnie) Isaac, Vinton, Ohio; Inez Isaac, Vinton, Ohio; Bertha (Gary) Oswalt, Huntington, Indiana; Dorotha Beachy, Huntington, Indiana; Virgie (Wayne) Spencer, Andrews, Indiana and Dellie (Stan) Hosmer, Duncanville, Alabama; twenty-three grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three brothers and three sisters: Amos, Jay and Harm Johnson, Aggie Hill, Ionia Collins and Ann Johnson, all of Floyd County, Kentucky.
Preceding her in death was one daughter, Edna in 1953; brothers, Wayne and Andy Johnson and sister, Laura Spears.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday September 26, 2006 at The Little Pearl Old Regular Baptist Church, Mt. Tabor Rd., Vinton, with Brother Sam Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Tackett Addition. Friends may call at the church Monday after 2:00 PM with Wake Services beginning at 6:00 PM.
