Rowdy Steven White

Rowdy Steven White, 22, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Jackson County as a result of a tragic accident.  He was born November 17, 1993 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Rodney Steven White and Sheryl Lynn Kemper of Bidwell.  Rowdy was a 2012 graduate of River Valley High School, Bidwell, Ohio and Buckeye Hills Career Center, Rio Grande, Ohio and 2014 graduate of Rio Grande Community College receiving an Associate Degree in Power Plant Maintenance.  He was a member of Vinton Baptist Church, Vinton, Ohio and was presently employed by Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, Ohio.  Rowdy was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gun lover and collector.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Amanda Lynn Harder, Vinton, Ohio; maternal grandfather, Harold "Grip" Kemper Bidwell, Ohio; Diana "Deanie" Kemper, Bidwell, Ohio, who was his second mom; paternal grandmother, Helen White, Florida; aunts:  Laura (Ken) Gallant, Milton, Florida and Alisha (Randy) Olsen, Marysville, Ohio; uncles:  Melvin (Holly) Lambert, Marysville, Ohio; Jeffrey (Kathy) Lambert, Georgia and Jonathan (Julie) Estep, Huntington, West Virginia,

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, June Kemper; paternal grandmother, Barbara Miller and paternal grandfather, Carl White.

At the request of the family, Rowdy's service will be a "Redneck Funeral".  In honor of Rowdy please consider wearing denim, tees, flannel and/or camo.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at His Way Community Church, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Dortha Ross officiating.  Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.  Friends may call at His Way Community Church Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM.
