Ruth Ann (Denney) Shupe

Ruth Ann (Denney) Shupe, 76, Bidwell, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born May 15, 1937 daughter of the late Paul Denney and Mary Denney Flowers. Ruth Ann attended Safe Harbor Country Church.
Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Donnie Shupe; children: Donna (Blaine) Taylor, Karen Knisley, Donald (Melody) Shupe and Geraldine (Paul) Snyder. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Valerie (Shannon) Weaver, Dale (Jessica) Taylor, Bryce Taylor, Brooke Taylor, Brent (Michelle) Shupe, Bridget (Matt) Barrett, Brandon (Michelle) Shupe, Sallie Snyder and Paul Snyder II. In addition, she is survived by ten great-grandchildren: Braxton and Natalie Weaver; Josie Taylor; Bailee, Braelynn and Bryar Shupe; Abbie, Wyatt, Landen and Hayden Barrett; five siblings: Don Denney, Mildred (Bill) George, Pauline (Lauchey) McCoy, John Robert Denney and James (Charlotte) Denney; four sisters-in-law: Jane Ann Burns, Betty Denney, Ellen Owens and Connie Denney.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by five siblings: Paul Denney, Jr., Wyman Denney, Harold Denney, Paul Richard Denney, Virginia Denney and step-father Elmore Flowers.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Safe Harbor Country Church, State Route 325 North and Sanford-Davis Road, Langsville, Ohio (near Danville). Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Saturday, November 30 1:00-3:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
