Ruth (Smith) Kerr

Ruth Kerr, 76, Bidwell, Ohio passed away at her residence Tuesday, September 30, 2003. She was born August 20, 1927 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Aubra and Violet Smith. Ruth married Devery Kerr, March 31, 1947 in Greenup, Kentucky and he preceded her in death November 6, 1999.
To this union were born two sons, Bruce (Katie) Kerr, Gallipolis and Gary (Angie) Kerr, Marietta and three grandchildren, Jason, Garrett and Lindsey Kerr. Also surviving are two brothers and five sisters: Carl (Helen) Smith, Deltone, Florida; Keith (Ernestine) Smith, Bidwell; Bessie Kirby, Crown City; Glenna (Garland) Boston, Jackson, Ohio; Shirley (Jim) Rodgers, Titusville, Florida; Lynda (J.D.) Smith, Bidwell and Carol (Roger) Bellville, Bidwell;brother-in-law, Loren (Karen) Kerr, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 4 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00-7:00 PM Friday and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Garland Boston, Jim Rodgers, J. D. Smith, Roger Bellville, Darin Smith, David Bellville and Jeremy Bellville. Honorary pallbearers are Chip Kirby and Lee Boston.
