Ruth Ann (Wells) Evans

Ruth Ann Wells Evans, 83, Laurelville, Ohio passed away at her home Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was born October 14, 1931 in Wilkesville, Ohio, daughter to the late Artie and Carrie Philips Williams. Ruth attended Wilkesville United Methodist Church, Wilkesville, Ohio; Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Chillicothe, Ohio and was former member of Wilkesville OES, Wilkesville, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Evans and two sons: Roger (Mary) Wells, Wilkesville, Ohio and Robert (Dee) Wells, Wilkesville, Ohio; two daughters: Rebecca (Lonnie) Doles, Londonderry, Ohio and Rita Doles Bidwell, Ohio; step-son, Mark Edward Evans, Inkster, Michigan; step-daughter, Pamela Jean Zeldon, California; brother-in-law, Willis Clark Evans, Sandusky, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by husbands Ronald Wells and John Becker; son, Richard Lee Wells; brother, Marvin Williams; sister, Betty Carpenter; sister-in-law, Gathie Williams; brother-in-law, Walter Wells and sister-in-law, Maxine Wells.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio with Bishop Tony George officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
