Sandra Lee (Ball) Roach

Sandra L. Roach, 74, Crown City, Ohio passed away at her home Wednesday, December 5, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born August 16, 1944 in Ewington, Ohio, daughter of the late David A. and Georgianna (Webb) Ball, Sr. An avid Ohio State Fan, she enjoyed being outdoors in her flower gardens – yet most of all, she was an amazing and dedicated mother to her children. She was a longtime employee of the Alcove Bookstore, Gallipolis and was baptized by the Chapel Hill Church of Christ, Gallipolis, Ohio.

Those children left behind to cherish her memory: Pamela Wiseman, Gallipolis, Ohio; Michelle (Robert) Duckworth, Bidwell, Ohio; Teresa Smith, Crosby, Texas; Justin (Amanda Smith) Roach, Crown City, Ohio; Greg (Tammy Brumfield) Roach, Gallipolis, Ohio and Charles (April) Roach, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Joshua, Jeremy and Amanda Smith; Courtney and Tristan Roach; Christa Martin; Caitlin and Hannah Roach; Jennings Roach; Alex and Tyler Wiseman and great-grandchildren: Brogan and Tynslee Parrott. Also surviving are her sister, Shirley (Norm) Mount and brother, David Ball Jr., both of Vinton, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Jean Black and sister-in-law, Betsy Ball.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Reverend Jonathan McAnulty officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Friday 6:00-8:00 PM.
