Sara L. "Sadie" Bush

Sara L. "Sadie" Bush, 83, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday September 4, 2010 in the Holzer Medical Center at Gallipolis. She was born February 2, 1927 at Marietta, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Maud Marlow Schafer. She was a graduate of the Holzer School of Nursing and served as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at the Holzer Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Sadie is survived by her husband, Gilbert B. Bush, Gallipolis; a son, James G. "Jim" Bush, Bakersfield, California; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Butler, Crown City, Ohio; three nieces, Mary (Randy) Pugh, Stockport, Ohio; Carolyn (Bob) Haner, Gallipolis and Paula (Ernice) Metzger, Gallipolis; and nephew, Paul E. Butler Jr., Crown City, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jacob and James Schafer, a sister, Mary E. Fenton, a sister-in-law, Alice Jean Bush and a brother-in-law, Paul E. Butler.
A Service of Remembrance will be conducted at Grace United Methodist Church Chapel in Gallipolis, Ohio Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill Thomas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
