Shannon L. Hunt

Shannon L. Hunt, 44, Jackson, Ohio passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at her home. She was born July 31, 1977 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of Gary and Barbara (Dunn) Hunt, Vinton, Ohio. Shannon was a 1995 Graduate of River Valley High School, Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Betty Jo (Tanner) Metheney and son, Rusty Hunt, both of Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Justin Lee Delbert, Dalton Michael Metheny and Asher Ray Hunt; brother, Kevin (Heather) Hunt, Vinton, Ohio and paternal grandfather, Louis Hunt, also of Vinton as well as several aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

Shannon was preceded by paternal grandmother, Betty Hunt and maternal grandparents, Effie and Albert Dunn.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 29, 2022 in the Vinton Memorial Park following the visitation for family and friends in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.
