Shirley M. (Bush) Thevenir

Shirley M. Thevenir, 72, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Monday June 3, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born December 8, 1940 in Minerton, Ohio daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Shifflet Bush. She married Gus Thevenir June 1, 1972 who preceded her in death January 27, 1994. She was a member of the Good News Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Shirley is survived by one son, Allen (Alicia) Newhart, Wesley Chapel, Florida and three daughters: Judith Newhart and Karen Newhart, both of Land O Lakes, Florida and Retha (Trent) Canter, Vinton, Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters: Rose Warren, Gallipolis, Ohio and Darla Parker, Porter, Ohio.
In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers and great-granddaughter, Abigail Hollingsworth.
Shirley had a great love for her family and pets.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Eric Fannin officiating. Burial will following in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call the funeral home Wednesday 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.
