Stephen Michael Ratliff

Stephen Michael Ratliff, 46, Point Pleasant, West Virginia passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Mount Orab, Ohio. He was born at Gallipolis, Ohio, August 5, 1976 to Bill and Linda Ratliff, Vinton, Ohio. He married Heather Hutchinson on December 31, 2014. He worked for Think Power in Madison, Indiana and he attended Central Christian Church, Gallipolis, Ohio where he was saved and baptized.

Steve was a friend to everyone he met - always a smile and had the gift of gab. Anyone who ever met Steve would say "he is such a good person." He will be missed by all those he leaves behind.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Linda; wife, Heather; brother, Jeff (Amber) Ratliff and sister, Christie Ratliff; mother-in-law, Patty Hutchinson; stepchildren, Kelly White, Taylor White and Syman White; nieces:  Makinsey (Brett) Downs, Erica (Isaac) Goss, Kate Campbell and Madison Ratliff; nephew, Jacob Ratliff; great-niece, Addison Rae; great-nephews: Easton and Jack; aunts: Cordie Arnett, Hazel Skidmore, Daisy Gierke, Gladys Salmons, Eleanor (David) Hart and Patricia Arnett; uncles: Zat Salmons, Kenny (Kelli) Ratliff, Bob (Penny) Ratliff and Jim (Debbie) Ratliff as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jack and Eulavene Ratliff, maternal grandparents, Gaylord and Pauline Salmons; father-in-law, Ronnie Hutchinson; aunt, Lyda Hall; uncle, Alvis Salmons and cousins, Brian Salmons and Kari Ratliff.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 AM to the service time of 1:00 PM.
