Susan Jeanette (Denney) Cox

Susan Jeanette Cox, 69, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born July 11, 1952 to the late Paul Franklin Denney and Clara Ellen Camden. Susan was a 1970 graduate of North Gallia High School, was former owner/operator at Lady Bug Floral, Bidwell, Ohio and was also employed by Smeltzer Flower Shop and Floral Fashions, both of Gallipolis, Ohio. She attended Prospect Baptist Church and loved her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Susan married Charles "Chief" Cox and he survives.  In addition to her husband she is survived by aunts, Ruth Phillips, Gallipolis, Ohio and Opal Caldwell, Bidwell, Ohio; uncle, John Camden, Killeen, Texas and special friends and neighbors: Janice Wedemeyer, Jane Ann Burns, Debbie Ellis, Mandy Lawson and Janey Lawson, all of Bidwell, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call on the family at the funeral home beginning 12:00 PM until the time of service.
