Susie A. (Parris) Hale

Susie A. Hale, 67, Langsville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. She was a loving wife and mother who was born on April 23, 1944 in Arista, West Virginia, daughter of the late Walter Monk and Gertha Rose Parris.
Susie married Claude Hale August 17, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois and he survives with four children: Sandra (William) Holcomb, Albany, Ohio; Angela (James) White, Granville, Ohio; Claude (Lauren) Hale II, Laurel, Maryland and James Hale, Langsville. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Kara Holcomb, Kimbralin Holcomb, William A. Holcomb, and Brianna Hale; two brothers and two sisters: Shirley (Bob) Atwood, Linda (Craig) Woodley, Ray (Betty) Monk, Walter (Barbara) Monk, Patty, Edward and Mark Parris, and a sister-in-law, Becky Monk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Monk.
Susie was an active member of Maggie's Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Dundas, Ohio where funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 27, 2011. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Friday 4:00-8:00 PM.
