Sylvia (Simmons) Ball

Sylvia (Simmons) Ball passed away June 19, 2015. Sylvia was born in Marion, Ohio to Arthur and Ruth (Heiser) Simmons on January 28, 1952. She worked as a box car marker for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad during the mid-1970's and also for Conrail in Columbus, Ohio.
Sylvia also received a degree in medical transcribing and worked in that field before marrying Doug Ball January 10, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. Doug and Sylvia made their home in Gallipolis, Ohio
In addition to her parents Sylvia was preceded in death by one nephew.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, and one sister, Irene Tron and niece, Chelsea (Tron) Gosnell.
In accordance with her wishes cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio. Services will be announced at a later date.
