Thomas E. Geiger, 58, Bidwell, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Arbors of Gallipolis. He was born April 23, 1949 in Jochin, West Virginia, son of the late Burley and Willie Mae White Geiger. He attended Shawnee Hills in Dunbar, West Virginia and Gallco Sheltered Workshop in Cheshire, Ohio for many years which he dearly loved. Thomas enjoyed praising the Lord and music with B.B. King being his idol. He attended Living Water Church and Apostolic Faith Church.
He is survived by seven brothers: Berley (Myrna) Geiger Jr., Harry Geiger, and Calvin Geiger, all of Charleston, West Virginia; Marvin (Roxie) Geiger, St. Albans, West Virginia; Rodney Geiger, Bidwell, Ohio; Claude Geiger, Crown City, Ohio and Marcus (Latrinda) Geiger, Gallipolis, Ohio; five sisters: Rose McCoy and Beverly Geiger, both of Charleston, West Virginia; Othella Close, Gallipolis, Ohio; Connie Beach and Sylvia Clark, both of Bidwell, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Living Water Church, 839 Kerr Road, Bidwell with Pastor Dan Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, West Virginia. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis.
