Thomas D. Racer

Thomas D. Racer, 63, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home. He was a life long resident and farmer of Gallia County who was born March 24, 1949. He was the son of the late Darrell Carl Racer and Winifred Mae Noel Racer.
He is survived by brother, Jewett Edward (Bev) Racer, Malta, Ohio and four sisters: Carlotta Kay Racer, Patriot, Ohio; Cynthia (Donivan) Garber, Vinton; Linda Lou Racer, Patriot and Dianna (John) Garber, Zanesville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Dean Racer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery near Rio Grande, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM.
