Timothy Lee "Tim" McComas

Timothy Lee McComas, 65, of Vinton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 7, 2026. He was born on September 15th, 1960, son of the late Gary McComas and Avelene Ward Carroll.

Tim graduated from North Gallia in 1979. He worked at General Mills and Merrillat in Jackson, Ohio before retiring.

He loved the summertime and riding his Harley whenever he was able. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lots of family cookouts and porch sitting were had with his family.

Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children: Tiffany McComas, Gallipolis, Ohio, Kayla (Justin) Mollohan, Bidwell, Ohio, Adam (Becky) Davis, Jackson, Ohio and Ryan Clark, Gallipolis, Ohio. Grandchildren: Jessa, Levi and Emma Mollohan of Bidwell, Ohio and Wade, Aiden and Brentley Davis of Jackson, Ohio. Sister and best friend, Kathy Ballantyne, Vinton, Ohio, Nephew, Danny Ballantyne, Vinton, Ohio. Uncle, Roscoe (Joyce) Ward, Vinton, Ohio, former wife and mother of his children, Lisa Marcum-Thompson, special Cousin, Dewey (Tina) Roberts, as well as several cousins and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Andrea McComas.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel with Pastors Jerrod Roberts and Dale Geiser officiating. Family and friends may call on the family beginning at 11:00 AM, to the time of service.
