Vernon L. Russell

Vernon L. Russell, 83, Circleville, Ohio passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Vinton, Ohio February 1, 1937 to the late Ernest Blaine and Ruby Ann George Russell. He married Janet A. Stump Russell in Houston, Texas October 5, 1973 and she survives. Vernon was retired from Painters Local #1275, a member of Church of Christ and a former barber at Buck & John's Barbershop, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet Russell; daughters, Kimberly Beaver, Gallipolis, Ohio and Vicki (Scott) Mash, Columbus, Ohio; sons, Steven (Kelly) Russell, Circleville, Ohio and Jesse (Emily) Russell, Columbus, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Russell, Bidwell, Ohio and sister, Bertha Stover, Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son-in-law, Larry Beaver, six brothers and eight sisters.

Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be at the Vinton Memorial Park Cemetery. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton is honored to serve the Russell Family.
