Vilma Helen Paradis, 94, of Patriot, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Holzer Medical Center Emergency Department, Gallipolis, Ohio. Vilma was born May 10, 1930, in East Providence, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Ulric and Ruth (Burgo) Maille.
Vilma worked as an aeronautic quality control specialist and enjoyed hobbies that included embroidery, knitting, reading and, most of all, loving her grandchildren. She married Armand R. Paradis September 8, 1950, in Providence, Rhode Island, who preceded her in death November 25, 2003.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Andre (Elizabeth) Paradis, Russell, Kentucky; grandchildren: Evelyn (Tyler) Boone, Patriot, Ohio; Rudy Paradis, Jonathan Paradis and Lillian Paradis, all of Russell, Kentucky; Sunshine (Andrew) Davis, Las Vegas, Nevada; Tamara Paradis and Jeremiah (Christy) Paradis, both of Reno Nevada; Joshua (Iva) Paradis, Caldwell, Idaho; Scott (Heather) Paradis, Rexburg, Idaho and Alan Paradis, Jr., Scottsdale, Arizona.
Also surviving are great-grandchildren: Phoenix, Carson, Briar Rose and Theophilus Boone and sister, Yvette D'Alessio, Exeter, Rhode Island.
In addition to her parents and husband, Vilma was preceded in death by sons, Armand O. Paradis and Alan D. Paradis and brother, Roland Maille.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are to be held. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Paradis Family.
