Virginia Mae "Ginny" (Sprague) Adams

Virginia Mae "Ginny" Adams, 85, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at her residence. She was born February 13, 1921 in Kerr, daughter of the late Chauncey Sprague and Florence Moore Sprague. A homemaker, she was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.
Ginny married Kenneth Harlan Adams January 27, 1940 in Gallipolis and he preceded her in death June 5, 1998. The last of her immediate family, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nola Brammer; two brothers, George L. "Buster" Sprague, Thomas Eugene Sprague; and sisters Lucille Skidmore and one who passed away in infancy.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter: James (Monica) Adams, Bidwell, Ohio; Jack L. (Ann) Adams, Bidwell, Ohio; Vicki Sue (Gary) Myers, Gallipolis, Ohio and Stephen Eugene (Diana) Adams, Vinton, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 9, 2006 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis, with Pastors Ed Mollohan, Carl Ward, and Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 6:00-9:00 PM.
