Wanda B. Caton Johnston, 81, Langsville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia. She was a homemaker and also was a member of the Rutland Freewill Baptist Church, the former Pythion Sisters, Wilkesville, and the Pomeroy Chapter of TOPS.
She was born January 4, 1927 at Vinton, Ohio daughter of the late Cecil and Lizzy Coffee Caton. She married Eugene Curtis Johnston on October 30, 1946, and he survives with five children: Cecil (Becky) Johnston, Langsville; Keith Johnston, Langsville; Melva (Jay) Tracy, Pomeroy, Ohio; B.J. (Jim) Lama, Springfield, Ohio and Vicki (Roy) Taylor, Cheshire, Ohio; eleven grandsons, four granddaughters, ten great-grandsons, five great-granddaughter and three sisters: Betty (Bob) Hayes, Fordland, Missouri; Dot (Bob) Deemer, Jackson, Ohio; Janet (Dick) Ladd, Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, followed by cremation. Interment will be in the Salem Center Cemetery, Meigs County at the discretion of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday 1:00-3:00 PM.
