Wanda Lee (Massie) Withrow

Wanda Lee Massie Withrow, 83, Davie, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Cleveland Clinic, Davie, Florida. She was born January 3, 1931 to in Lecta, Ohio, daughter of the late Marcus and Nola (Notter) Massie. She was a 1948 graduate of Gallia Academy High School and was employed at Columbus and Southern Electric Company. After moving to Florida in 1969, she was employed as a senior accountant and retired from the Motorola Corporation after 24 years of service and was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star. She married William F. Withrow, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Wanda is survived by a son, William F. (Coleen) Withrow, Jr., Harrisburg, North Carolina and daughter, Rebecca Withrow, Davie, Florida; three step-children, twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Leon and sisters and brothers-in-law: Bernice and Everett McMahon, MaeBelle and Woodrow Pope as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel Tuesday 1:00 PM until the time of service.
