Wilbert Bailey, Sr.

Wibert Bailey Sr., 87, Wilkesville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born November 23, 1925 to French and Fannie (Loving) Bailey in Eccles, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons: Michael, David and Ronald.

Mr. Bailey is survived by the loving mother of his children, Maxine Bailey as well as six sons: Wilbert Jr., New Lexington, Ohio; Gregory (Kristine), Wilkesville, Ohio; Phillip, Wilkesville, Ohio; Jack (Jody), Hollywood, Maryland; Brian (Amy), Wilkesville, Ohio and Bradley (Jenny), Wilkesville, Ohio and daughter, Barbara (Fred) Taylor, Wilkesville, Ohio. Surviving are also two sisters: Opal Roberts, Mallory, West Virginia and Dorothy Morrison, Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Bailey will be missed by fourteen grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, Ohio. Burial will follow in Curry Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 11:00 AM until the time of service.
