William "Bill" Andrew Hale, 67, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, in Amite County, Mississippi. He was born in Varney, Kentucky. He spent the early part of his life in Southern Ohio. He later moved to St. Amant, Louisiana, spending his leisure time at his farm in Osyka, Mississippi, where he was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church.
Bill Hale was entrepreneur for over 30 years, with his business(es): Victor Industrial Pipe, VIP Surplus and Salvage, and VIP Transportation of St. Amant, Louisiana. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed overseas in Thailand.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie A. Hale; father, John B. Hale; mother, Claudia Williamson Hale and sister-in-law, Sue Hale.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Young Hale of St. Amant, Louisiana; his children: Richard Hale of St. Amant, Louisiana; Mary Hale Grizzard (Tee), St. Petersburg, Florida; Andrea Hale-Arnold (Danny), Gillsburg, Mississippi; Kacie Hale, St. Amant, Louisiana; Kelsey Hale, St. Petersburg, Florida and Andrew Hale, St. Amant, Louisiana; step-children: Will Harryman (Kim), Gonzales, Louisiana and Jessica Hanna-Eubanks (Eric), Gonzales, Louisiana; brothers, Claude Hale, Langsville, Ohio and John Elliott Hale, Jackson, Ohio; sisters, Karen Hale Elliott, Langsville, Ohio and Katrena Hale-Claver, St. Petersburg, Florida; fourteen grandchildren and a host of family, friends and work associates.
Of course those who knew him and his family know "Bill Hale" was so much more than these few words and those who met him, never forgot him. The family will have a Memorial Service at Little Flock Church, 1900 Borland Road, Route 1, Ray, Ohio at 2:00 P.M. July 26, 2014, with Bro. Mike Fortner and Bro. Hank Forgey officiating. The burial immediately to follow at Vinton Memorial Park with Military Graveside Services conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post 161 for those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate his life.
