William H. 'Bill" Howard

W illiam "Bill" Howard Sr., 78, of Bidwell passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born June 2, 1944 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson Howard. A graduate of Southwestern High School, he owned and operated the Autumn Harvest Dairy Farm. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church as well as the Gallia County Farm Bureau. Bill enjoyed barbecues and visiting with friends.

Bill married Jackie Hurt Howard October 22, 1966 and she survives with a son and a daughter: Andy Howard of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Diane (Jaime) Jordan of Bidwell, Ohio.  Also surviving are grandchildren: Maddison, Morgan, Taylor and Jadein  Howard; Corey Law, Cameron McCoy, Arianna and Aleesha Jordan and great-grandchildren: Zayden, Maddix, K.J., Eli, Kash and Tristen. Bill is survived  by brother, Clarence (Judy) Howard and sister, Hazel Young, both of Dayton, Ohio and special family, Jaime Jordan, Brad Hurt and Gene Garnes.

Bill was preceded in death by brothers Charles, James and John Howard and sisters, Margaret Boling, Dorothy Gordon, Marianna Morgan and an infant sister.

Family and friends may call at the Mccoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Friday, August 26,2022.  Private Graveside services will be conducted in the New Hope Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
