William Harvey Burnett

William Harvey Burnett, 79, Patriot, Ohio passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at his residence.  He was born August 26, 1936 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Jeff and Maudie Lowe Burnett.  He was a member of Gallia Baptist Church, Patriot, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Lenora Burnett of Patriot; six sons: Charles (Charlotte) Rawlins, Bidwell, Ohio; Gary (Evelyn) Rawlins, South Bloomfield, Ohio; Steve (Robin) Rawlins, Patriot; Jim (Cheri) Burnett, Sunbury, Ohio; Tim (Jackie) Burnett, Oak Hill, Ohio and Harvey (Courtney) Burnett, Mechanicsburg, Ohio;  one daughter, Lori Burnett, Patriot;  twenty-two grandchildren,  twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers: Jim (Sally Jo) Burnett, Valrico, Florida and Gene (Angeline) Burnett, Nolan, West Virginia; five sisters: Ethel Marcum, Centerpoint, Ohio; Grace (Sherman) Dials, Virginia; Gladys Pearl (James) Dials, Virginia; Ovelt Trapp, Valrico, Florida and Kay Burnett, Centerpoint, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by a daughter, Debi Rawlins Wintz; three brothers, Paul, Russell and L.D. Burnett and a sister, Mattie (Burnett) Cundiff.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in the Gallia Baptist Church, Patriot with Pastor Cline Rawlins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gallia Baptist Church Cemetery.  Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel Monday 5:00-8:00 PM.
