Winifred Marie (Denney) Greenlee

Winifred Marie Greenlee, 88, Vinton, Ohio passed away in Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson, Ohio on Saturday, November 5, 2011. She was born November 17, 1922 at Vinton, daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Woodrum Denney. She was an LPN who retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center in 1982 with twenty-five years of service. In addition, she was a member of the Gallipolis Christian Church.
Winifred is survived by two sons: Larry (Julie) Greenlee, Vinton and Ronald(Patricia) Greenlee, Mt. Sterling, Ohio; six grandchildren: Steve (Molly) Greenlee and Cindy (Chris) Maynard, both of Bidwell, Ohio; Matthew Greenlee, Mt. Sterling; Shay (Michael) Hune, Columbus, Ohio; Noell Greenlee and Nathan (Amanda Jones) Greenlee, both of Ashville, Ohio; five great-grandchildren: Morgan Greenlee, Dylan Greenlee, Katie Maynard, Kristen Maynard and Lily Mae Marie Greenlee.
Also surviving are two brothers: Leo (Mary Jane) Denney, Norwalk, Ohio and Carmel Denney, Sandusky, Ohio; former daughter-in-law, Shirley Greenlee, Bidwell and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Jean Greenlee; her former husband, Fred R. Greenlee; one brother, Ralph Denney and one sister, Ilene Caudill.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Denny Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 PM.
