Winston Cas Trent, 73, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Monday September 8, 2014 in The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. He was born October 10, 1940 in Christian, West Virginia, son of the late Hazel and Lucy (Vance) Trent. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Winston is survived by three children: Bradley (Jodie) Trent, Mesa, Arizona; Anita (Jerel) Collins, Roanoke, Virginia and Linda (Scott) Oiler, Vinton, Ohio; four grandchildren: Tyler and Tori Trent and Christopher and Madison Oiler; four sisters: Juanita (Fred) Bledsoe, Barboursville, West Virginia; Sue Ruo-Rock, Huntington Beach, Florida; Betty Konikof, Boise, Idaho and Romaine (Jim) Jones, Bradenton, Florida; and Special Caregiver, Donna Oiler, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Winston was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Trent; brothers and sisters: Denver, Ernest, Gladys Heading and Ethel Mae Crider.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Full Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post #161. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton is honored to serve the Trent family.
