Zeffie Loveday (Spaulding) Slone

Zeffie Loveday Slone, 85, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born November 23, 1929 at Bolderland, Kentucky, daughter of the late Anderson James and Anna Elizabeth (Bragg) Spaulding. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Zeffie is survived by three sons: Walter (Carolyn) Loveday, Gallipolis; Albert (Penny) Loveday and John (Ruth) Loveday, both of Bidwell; daughter, Toni Devinney, Iowa; stepson: Steve (Shelly) Slone, Gallipolis; grandchildren: Dan (Liz) Loveday; Billy (Sam) Loveday; Bussy (Joy) Loveday; Matt Loveday; Adam (Cassie) Loveday; Stephanie Campbell and Lorie (Nick) Goodmann; step-grandson, Andy Slone; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters: May Webster and Geraldine Casto. Zeffie also had two very special companions: Cloe and Cupcake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Walter Marvin Loveday, Sr. and Herbert G. Slone; brothers: Millard Spaulding, Gene Spaulding, Ed Spaulding and Elmer Spaulding.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Rev. Pat Henson, officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday 5:00-7:00 PM.
