Obituary
Albert Dean Schrock, “Dean”, of Vinton, Ohio passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born January 2, 1951 at Millersburg, Ohio, son of Martha Funk of Millersburg, Ohio and the late Dale Schrock. He retired from Superior Lumber of Wellston, Ohio where he was a lumber inspector and attended Faith Valley Church of Gallipolis, Ohio before his health kept him from attending. He enjoyed hunting, flying RC Airplanes and shooting guns.
In addition to his Mother, Dean is survived by his wife, Karen Hysell Schrock; two daughters and two sons: Rose Schrock, Lansdale, Pennsylvannia; Amy (Jacob) Kari, St. Onge, South Dakota; Benjamin (Heather) Schrock and Jason Schrock, both of Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Joshua, Jeremiah and John Kari; Karlie, Chloey and Weston Schrock.
Also surviving are brothers James (Linda) Schrock, Lowpoint, Illinois; Duane Schrock, Fresno, Ohio and sister Joyce Mahaffey, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday 11:00–1:00 PM.
