Bertha Ellen (Russell) Stover

Bertha Ellen Stover, 82, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 in her home. She was born May 6, 1939 in Vinton, Ohio, daughter of the late Earnest and Ruby (George) Russell. Bertha was a member of White Oak Church, Gallipolis, Ohio and she spent her time enjoying her family, caring for her great-grandchildren and enjoying the outdoors.

Those left behind to share her memory are her sons: Doug (Jackie) Stover and Shane Stover, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Linsey Stover, Abi Stover and Joshua Stover, all of Gallipolis; her great-grandchildren: Ariya, Easton and Everly and her brother, Paul Russell, Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Stover and brothers, William Russell, Vernon Russell and sister, Earnestine Edminston.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the White Oak Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Carl Ward and Pastor Ted Russell officiates. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday 5:00-6:00 PM at the church. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
