Carolyn Lee (Staniford) Pratt

Carolyn Lee Pratt, 73, Bidwell, Ohio died Monday, March 8, 2021 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio following a lengthy illness. She was born to Ralph Emerson and Dorothy Irene (nee Wilson) Staniford September 24, 1947 in Coshocton, Ohio. Carolyn attended French City Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio, she was employed as a teacher’s aide for a children’s daycare center. Carolyn married Gerald “Gerry” Pratt March 29, 1975 at Coshocton, Ohio and he survives.

Also surviving are son, Keith (Caroline Kerwood) Pratt, Bidwell, Ohio and stepson, Eric (Tracy Olfers) Pratt, Etna Ohio; grandchildren: A.J. Pratt, Logan Pratt, Lainee Pratt, Lily Pratt, Leslie Pratt, Joseph Pratt and Nate Pratt and a brother, Ralph (Debbie) Staniford, Pinch, West Virginia as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Craig Lee Pratt.

The Pratt Family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Pleasant Valley Home Health Team and Holzer Hospice as well as their church family at French City Baptist Church for their care and kindness throughout Carolyn’s illness.

Carolyn's Family will receive friends 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at French City Baptist Church, 3554 State Route 160, Gallipolis, Ohio. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel is honored to serve the Pratt Family.
