Cory Joseph Spaun

Cory Joseph Spaun, 34 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1987 in Gallipolis, son of Robert Spaun of Cheshire, Ohio and the late Betty Arlene Young Spaun.  He was a butcher employed by R & C Packing of Bidwell and attended Cheshire Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Cory is survived by children: Lilly Spaun, Jase Spaun and Eli Spaun; mother of his children, Sara Cravens-Spaun; brothers and sisters: Travis (Jessica) Spaun, Cody (Diana) Spaun, Tina (Jamie) Bush, Cayla (Cory Kuhn) Spaun and Lacey Young; nephews: Dillon (Cassidy) Bush, Dalton (Ashley Campbell) Bush, Gage Spaun, Maddox Spaun, Waylon Kuhn and Cayden Teel; nieces, Riley Spaun, Cali Campbell, Willow Bush, Addilyn Bush, Ashtyn Bush and Presley Teel; Loving Partner, Karenda Vance and her two children, Blake and Brynleigh and lifelong Special Friends: Connie Montgomery, Tina Justus, Randy and Nola Prater, Chase and Brittany Davis, Nathan Mollohan, Tyler Burns, Nick and Jennifer Cherrington.

Cory was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Spaun; paternal grandparents, James Junior Spaun and Alberta Marie Spaun; maternal grandparents, Cecil Young and Minnie Mollohan, James Edward Spaun, and Charles Randal Spaun. 

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio with Pastor Jon Mollohan officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis is honored to serve the Spaun Family. Pallbearers will be Travis Spaun, Cody Spaun, Dillon Bush, Dalton Bush, Brandon Spaun, Cory Kuhn and Chase Davis.
