Erma (Kingsbury) Eagle

Erma Eagle, 105 formerly of Vinton, Ohio passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 at Holzer Senior Care, Bidwell, Ohio. She was born December 14, 1915 in Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late O.D. Parsons and Addie Kingsbury Parsons. She married Robert H. Eagle November 19, 1938 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky and he preceded her in death April 12, 2004. Erma retired from Gallia County Local Schools after 23 years where she served as a cafeteria supervisor at Vinton Elementary, Bidwell Elementary and North Gallia High School. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Porter.

Erma is survived by two children: Larry (Phyllis) Eagle, Bethesda, Ohio and Janice Zarbaugh, Groveport, Ohio; four grandchildren: Linnette (Bryan) Grove, Holly Ridge, North Carolina; Tiffany Chapin, Oviedo, Florida; Kimberly Ann (Charlie) Graham, Gahanna, Ohio and Robert (Bobbi) Kinker, Gahanna, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren: Abigail Grove, Brendan Grove, D.J. Chapin, Carson Chapin, Nathan Chapin, Lauren Graham, Kellie Graham and Allena Kinker; brother, Dale Parsons, Roanoke, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Erma was preceded in death by one grandson, James Matthew Kinker and brother, Jabez Parsons.

Private Graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family in the Vinton Memorial Park with Pastor Bob Powell officiating.
