Eula Mae Dummitt, 91, of Thurman, Ohio passed away Saturday April 2, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 22, 1930 in Wyoming County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Gordon S. Mullins Sr. and Ruby E. (Lovern) Mullins. Eula married James R. Dummitt Jr. December 22, 1956 and he preceded her in death October 28, 2009. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Rio Christian Church.
Eula is survived by seven children: Wanda (Roger) Johnson, James G. Dummitt, Sandra (Tom) Kuhn, Bill (Tammy) Dummitt, Roy (Kim) Dummitt, Mary (Gary) Dummitt and Jason (Anneliese) Dummitt; thirteen grandchildren: Wendy Gatz, Jamie Lynn Edwards, Carey (Tommy) Moomey, Becki (Phil) Locke, Roy N. (Courtney) Dummitt, Courtney N. (Adam) Doles, Nathan (Monique) Kuhn, Cody A. (Samantha) Sheets, Dustin (Josie) Sheets, Baron (Heather) Dummitt, Kaitlynn (Mackenzie) Halley, Joshua (Trista) Dummitt and J.D. Dummitt; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers Gordon, Garland, Raymond, James “Buster” and Jack Mullins; sisters, Lucille Graybel, twin sister Beulah Mullins and an infant sister, Violet Mullins.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022 in the Rio Christian Church, 825 State Route 325 North, Bidwell with Pastor Jeff Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Tyn Rhos Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Thursday 11:00 AM until time of service. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis is honored to serve the Dummitt Family.
