Irene (Browning) Coe

Irene Coe, 80, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio following a lengthy illness. She was born March 13, 1943 in Hampden, West Virginia, to the late Tony and Hazel (Fields) Browning. Irene married James Clifford Coe August 17, 1960 and he precedes her in death June 10, 2001.

To this union were born their surviving children: James Manuel (Juleana) Coe, Reno, Nevada and Tammy Suzette Coe-McNutt, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Irene will be missed by her grandchildren: Madison McNutt, Jamie Dawn (John Rumion) Coe, Brandon Coe, Miranda Coe and Ali Coe; great-grandchildren: Evan Coe, Ethan Coe and Sophie Coe; brother, Burt (Sue) Browning; sisters, Sadie “Cookie” (Joseph) Jones, Darlene Shortridge and Ruth Barnes and special friends, Elaine Coe and John DeWhitt.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by two infant daughters: Dawn Marie Coe and Toni Lynn Coe and brother, Roscoe Browning.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday May 3, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Campaign Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:00 AM to the Noon service time.
