Jason Michael Jenkins, 46, Mason, West Virginia passed away at his home Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Jason was born May 17, 1976 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of George Michael Jenkins, Pomeroy, Ohio and Kathryn A. Gindlesberger, Cheshire, Ohio. Jason was a 1995 graduate of River Valley High School and a United States Army Veteran serving during the Bosnia & Kosovo Conflicts, during which he earned and was awarded the Soldier’s Medal.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters: Jaydin Lynn Inez Jenkins, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Rumor Jae Jenkins, Mason, West Virginia; brothers and sisters: Matthew Scott (Ashley) Jenkins, Cheshire, Ohio; Katie Inez (Aaron) Adams, Lexington, Kentucky; Kris (Karen) Jenkins, Nashville, Tennessee; Jilian Nicole (Jake) Szurek, Little Torch Key, Florida; Adam (Katrin) Thomas and Ashley (Ty) Ault, both of Pomeroy, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mildred Gindlesberger and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio to be followed by cremation services. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday 5:00-7:00 PM.
