Obituary
Jerry Daniel Jones, 74, Vinton, Ohio passed away peacefully at his residence Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born April 26, 1946 to the late Luis Norris and Cara Bell (nee Mahaffey) Jones in Wilmington, Ohio. Jerry was a United States Navy Veteran and attended Morgan Center Holiness Church, Vinton, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Angie Jones and stepdaughters, Lisa Collins, Lisa Knisley and Cheri Swart; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Shirley Jones and a host of extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Connie Franks Jones and Frances Collins Jones; son, Jerry Norris Jones and sisters: Vivian Jones Funk, Evelyn Jones Engle, Madge Jones Tolle, Rosalee Jones Harman and infant sister, Eleanor.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Morgan Center Holiness Church, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the church 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial will be conducted Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
