John Park, 69, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at his home. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan November 20, 1949 to the late Edward and Jean Karmol Park. John worked as a coal miner and was also employed by American Electric Power Roaming Maintenance, a member of Gallipolis VFW Post 4464, a member of Point Pleasant American Legion Post 23 and an avid University of Michigan fan.
John married Brenda Kemper December 16, 1995 at Gallipolis, Ohio and she survives along with their children: Debbie (John) Bulinda, Howell, Michigan; Becky (Mike) Greene, Middleport, Ohio; Tammy Gilmore, Gallipolis, Ohio and Aaron (Courtney) Mulholand, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Laura, Kristie, John Jr., Makenzie, Maddi, Grant, Gabral, Grace and Connor; two fur babies, Joee and Zoee; special brother-in-law, Sam Kemper, Vinton, Ohio and three brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by first wife Shirley McGraw Park and two brothers.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 in the Morgan Center Christian Holiness Church, Bidwell with Reverend Ted Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Center Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio with Full Military Graveside Rites conducted by Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail. Family and friends may call on the family at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
