Lawana M. (Stalcup) Moore

Lawana M. Moore, 75, Vinton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.  She was born October 5, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles and Ella Mae (Beebe) Stalcup. Lawana married Ray A. Moore November 9, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri and he survives.

Lawana leaves behind her husband Ray and their daughter, Annette (Alan) Smith, Thurman, Ohio; adopted granddaughter, Khloe Kirby, Allensville, Ohio and sister, Anita (Joe) Yantis, Columbus, Ohio, several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Adam Smith, brothers, James Stalcup, Charles Stalcup II and sister, Katrina Buxton.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 23, 2023 in The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Pastor Vinton Rankin officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 3:00–5:00 PM.
