Lena Mae (George) Durham

Lena Mae Durham, 78, Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Adena Hospital, Chillicothe, Ohio. The daughter of the late Wendell and Nina (Rothgeb) George, she was born February 21, 1943 in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Lena leaves those to cherish her memory her children: Edsel (Ruth) Durham, Hamden, Ohio; Douglas (Karen) Durham, Oak Hill, Ohio; Steven Durham, Vinton, Ohio as well as ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; siblings: Barbara Schoolcraft, Vinton, Ohio; Nina (Robert) Manley, Merril (Donna) George, Donna Marie McFarland and Richard (Debbie) George, all of Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Durham and brothers and sisters Arthur George, Elmer George, Nellie McGraw, Mary Schoolcraft and Donald George.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, November 18, 2021 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Vinton. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 AM to the Noon service hour.
