Lola Avenell (Reynolds) Mount

Lola Avenell Mount, 85, Bidwell, Ohio passed away at her home Friday, October 29, 2021 following a brief illness. She was born May 13, 1936 in Elliott County, Kentucky, daughter of the late William and Emma (Wilson) Reynolds. She married Richard Mount April 19, 1963, and they were married 51 years before his passing February 10, 2015. Avenell was a member of White Oak Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio.

She is survived by their four children: Donnie (Tami) Mount, Crown City, Ohio; Debbie Shephard, Michelle (Steve) Baldridge and Rick (Lisa) Mount, all of Bidwell, Ohio; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and brother, Emerson Reynolds, Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters: Wilma Mount, Maxine Hudnell and Jeanetta Dray.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, November 1, 2021 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with cremation services to follow. Family and friends may call at the funeral home 10:00 AM to the service hour.
