Mary B. Williamson, 72, Vinton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 1, 2021 at her home. She was born in Brighton, England May 17, 1948 to the late William and Janet (nee McFarland) Dyce. Mary married Billy Williamson Sr. February of 1965 and he preceded her in death March 20, 2001. She was a member of Church of Christ, Rio Grande, Ohio, life member of American Legion Post 27 Auxiliary and a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are sons: Scott (Cynthia) Williamson, Crown City, Ohio and Billy (Lola Marcum) Williamson, Jr., Vinton, Ohio; daughter, Janet (Roger “Pup”) Harrison, Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Seth (Lexie) Williamson, Alexis Williamson, Morgan (Britney) Williamson, Erin Evans, Ryan (Kristinia) Hill, Kendra (Zach) Cox, Dakota (Sydney Coon) Williamson and Bryer Williamson; great-grandchildren: Coltyn, Kaylin, Kallie, Scarlet, Maverick, Brixton, Rosalee and Willadean; brothers, John (Kate) Dyce, Portsmouth, England and Billy Dyce, Hull, England; sisters, Janette (Golden) Baisden, Kermit, West Virginia and Elizabeth Macina, Dunoon, Scotland; sisters-in-law, Dolly Marcum, Georgia Bell Meade and Mary (George) Pendleton, all of Vinton, Ohio; brothers-in-law: Bobby Williamson, Crum, West Virginia; Roger Dale Meade, Flem (Donna) Meade and Samuel (Gail) Meade, all of Vinton, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by brother, James Dyce; sisters-in-law, Nancy Watson and Kay Williamson; brothers-in-law: Roy Meade, Randolph Marcum, and Bill Watson.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2021 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to the time of service.
