Mildred Faye Donahue, 90, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born at Langsville, Ohio April 24, 1931 to the late Lloyd and Ethel (Deihl) Thomas. She married Clyde Thomas Donahue June 30, 1949 in Pomeroy, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Mildred was a retired school bus driver for the Gallia County Local School District, a member of Vinton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 161 Vinton, Ohio, Vinton Order of Eastern Star #375 and Calvary Baptist Church, Rio Grande, Ohio.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Christy (Bob) Barnhart, Syracuse, Ohio; Fauna Donahue, Vinton, Ohio; Arvina Donahue, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Scott (Mary) Donahue, Vinton, Ohio and grandchildren: Raberta (Jared) Hill, Reedsville, Ohio; Keri (Travis) Smith, Letart, Ohio; Cynthia (Brody) Bauers, Logan as well as eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11:15 AM in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton with Pastors Bob Powell and Vinton Rankin officiating.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial gifts be sent to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or a charity of your choice.
