Nicholas Paul Sargent

Nicholas Paul Sargent, 14, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born August 30, 2008 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of David Sargent, Jr., Jamestown, New York and Julie Simmons, Bidwell, Ohio. Nick attended River Valley Middle School, Bidwell, Ohio. He had an avid interest in Military History, especially the United States Marine Corp. He was quite the outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

Nick leaves behind, in addition to his loving parents, his brothers: Dustin (Morgan Johnson) Reynolds, Bidwell, Ohio and Thomas (Cheyanne Allman) Sargent, Pomeroy, Ohio; paternal grandparents, David and Eve Sargent, Sr., Stockton, New York and maternal grandfather, Bill Simmons, Bidwell, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Gunner, Remy, Bella, Hazel, Riley and Jazmine as well as several extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mike Coon and maternal grandmother, Barbara Simmons.

A Visitation for Nick will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2023 in the Vinton Baptist Church 11818 State Route 160 Vinton, Ohio. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, who is honored to serve the family.
