Rayford "Muck" Allen Minnis

Rayford “Muck” Minnis, 62, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born April 1, 1958 in Vinton, Ohio, the son of Calvin Minnis, Bidwell, Ohio and the late Evelyn Morrison. Muck was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Calvin and Maudine Minnis; two daughters, Brittani Minnis, Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Tarra Geiger, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren, Xhiere Minnis and Andre Geiger; brother, Calvin “Cisco” Minnis, Vinton, Ohio;  special friend, Terri Combs, Bidwell, Ohio and several extended family members.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by brother, Kenny Dale Morrison and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, August 3, 2020 in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio with Rev. Gene Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Bethel Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Friends and family may call at The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, Sunday, August 2, 2020 5:00-8:00 PM. Social Distancing protocols must be observed and masks or facial coverings are required.
